Join us for a few days—or even a few weeks—of collective building, making and learning!
Following the success of last year’s project, we’re excited to create three new pieces of movable, modular urban furniture for the Lāou Lāou Open Streets Day. We’ll also repair and refresh last year’s furniture so it can continue bringing life to our public spaces.

Everyone is welcome, with or without technical experience. Experienced workshop coordinators will be there throughout the construction weeks to guide and support participants.
You can join us for a single day, several days or an entire week—whatever works for you.
What We’ll Create
What We’ll Create
Together, we’ll build:
A movable information booth and DJ tower
A mobile kitchen and workshop table
A versatile fabric structure for shade, screenings and installations
We’ll also sand and varnish last year’s urban furniture, giving it a new lease of life.
These reusable structures are designed to support neighbourhood activities, public events, workshops and new ways of experiencing the city.
