Chryseleousa Primary School

Walking Bus at Chryseleousa Primary School is Cyprus’s first walking bus initiative, where OPU community members, in collaboration with volunteering parents, escorted children to school on foot. Around 50 kids participated, walking to school instead of being driven by their parents.

This initiative not only promoted physical activity but also fostered friendships and a spirit of adventure among the children. The walk utilized the linear park as a safe and pleasant commuting route, encouraging sustainable transport and creating a positive, community-centered experience.
