CurioCity is an urban exploration initiative that invites participants to discover Cyprus’s neighborhoods, ranging from hidden gems and underutilized industrial sites to suburban residential areas. During the walks, participants pause for discussions, reflections, and the sharing of insights, facilitating a rich exchange of perspectives on the urban environment.

The goal is to foster a deeper connection with spaces often overlooked, encouraging participants to observe through the lens of an urban planner and reflect on their multi-sensory pedestrian experience.

In addition to the walks, a series of beginner-friendly QGIS training sessions are offered, equipping participants with the skills to map their observations and transform their reflections into valuable data. The ultimate aim of the project is to create an archive of information that can shape urban decision-making, promoting the development of more thoughtful, informed, and resilient cities that truly respond to the needs of their citizens.
